Meditation Tip 11 – Never Forget to Meditate by Scheduling Meditation

Perhaps the most common and socially acceptable excuse in our modern world is “I don’t have time.” In reality, though, “I don’t have time” usually means “I won’t make time.” Even the busiest executives, artists, and parents can find time to meditate by scheduling it into their day.

Pick a time of day when you will be both alert and physically available for meditation. This might be between meetings or after you’ve finished lunch. Make it a point to physically write (or type) the exact time you’ve designated for daily meditation into your calendar.

By adding meditation to your calendar, you signal to your brain that you’re committed to establishing a practice and growing as a person.
