It can be hard to find the motivation to meditate, especially on those particularly tiring days. The fact that it’s such a solitary practice can make it even easier to skip a day. Finding a meditation partner can go a long way to keep you motivated. Whether it’s a friend, partner, or coworker, sharing your meditation experience will give you renewed inspiration to keep going even when it’s tough.


A meditation partner can be incredibly motivational even if you’re not in the same physical location when you practice. Just entering into an agreement with someone else will strengthen your commitment. Schedule a time to touch base once or twice a week to share your meditation progress with each other. Venting frustrations and celebrating accomplishments together will make your practice even more fulfilling.
